Pets at Home
Pets at Home implemented new, more environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices. The brief was to help them update their colleagues on these new initiatives and their achievements. I designed a quarterly newspaper to create discussion among the colleagues.
The paper was delivered in plastic-free, seeded paper packaging so each store could plant wild flowers in their area to boost the local ecology. The newspaper became a community forum for the 440 different stores and has developed a sustainable thinking movement in-store and encouraged new responsible retail initiatives. The newspaper went on to win an Institute of Internal Communications award in design.
